The Aqniet youth charity organization of the Jas Orda Youth Association of the Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University has successfully completed the annual charity event “Letter to Santa Claus”. The main purpose of this good deed is to give New Year’s gifts to children from social institutions, large and low-income families.
As part of the campaign, children from low-income and large families, including pupils from government institutions, wrote letters to Santa Claus, talking about their dreams and the gifts they would like to receive. The volunteers of the Aqniet youth charity organization posted these letters on the Instagram social network so that students, university staff and all residents of the city could take part in the action and realize the dreams of children.
– As a result of the campaign, we have pleased 602 children this year. Among them: 425 children from large and low-income families received their gifts, as well as 177 pupils from the Tansholpan social institution received sweet treats. In addition, we personally presented New Year’s gifts to children from families who are in difficult life situations living in Karaganda, Temirtau and Prishakhtinsk, the organizers said.
They thanked everyone who supported the charity event and wished them good luck, happiness and prosperity in the New Year. Good deed always comes back!
