Friendship of the people, mutual understanding and cooperation are support of our country. Each citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan has the right for use the native language, free choice of language of communication, education, training and creativity. The state cares for conditions creation for studying and development of languages of the people of Kazakhstan.
On September 21, 2018 the concert devoted to celebration of the Languages Day of the people of Kazakhstan took place in the Students’ Palace “Zhastar Alemi” at Karaganda State Technical University. The organizers of a holiday were “Foreign languages department” under the leadership of the Head department the associate professor, Candidate of the Pedagogical Sciences Jantasova Damira Dulatovna and Izotova Aigerim Serikovna (senior teacher of English, responsible for socially-educational work of “Foreign languages department”).
This event has been held for inoculation students’ interest in knowledge of state, Russian and foreign languages, patriotism accomplishment through studying the cultural heritage of the people.
Today, the language policy in Kazakhstan is aimed for the development of cultural heritage of all ethnic groups living on the hospitable Kazakh land. On January 20, 1998, the Decree of the President of the Republic stated that September 22 was the Languages Day of the people of Kazakhstan, the purpose is education of love and respect for the native language and the country and expansion of languages knowledge, traditions of different nationalities.
According to the current legislation, each citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan has the right to use the native language, for the free choice of language of communication, education, training and creativity. It is objective, language is an educational tool and a support connecting people’s relationship. In turn, Day of languages is a sign of friendship, relationship and unity of all citizens of the country.
Language is a friendship support, language is a special tool promoting rapprochement of the people.
The festive event with a sincere greeting in 3 languages was opened by the hosts (Baurtay Yerbolat and Alpysbayeva Zhadyra, students of Biotechnology group 18-1). Then, the anthem of RK was heard.
Throughout the event talented students of the 1st and 2nd courses of KSTU appeared on stage. The audience met each performance with a round of applause.
The first was a wonderful song ”Mereke” in Kazakh sung by the student of the Biotechnology group18-2 group Daribayeva Zhannur. Further, students of Architecture group 18-3 Vakhitova Almira and Borodulin Vladlen have masterly sung songs and played ukulele and the guitar, and students Asylbek Nurbolat, (from Military group 18-1) and Nikolaeva Zarina (from Biotechnology group 18-4) have read wonderful verses in Kazakh and Russian languages.
Also, songs in the English and Kigriz languages were performed by talented students Yermekova Meruert (Electrical engineering group 18-1), Ivanova Sofia (Biotechnology group 18-4) and Bozkenova Ayazhan (Biotechnology group 18-3).
In addition, the guests had an opportunity for half an hour to enjoy charming Kazakh, incendiary Spanish, Georgian and not less attractive Russian dances.
On the end of the event hosts have once again congratulated everybody and also, handed the diploma. It was very positive, interesting holiday!! Thanks to all for active participation!!
