On February 16th, the Atom robotics team, students of the Murager school, visited our university to promote robotics in Karaganda. They are participants in the First Tech Challenge robotics competition and are the only representatives of the Karaganda region at these competitions. The team will soon have a Central Asian stage in Astana. They also presented and demonstrated their robot to a group of students and teachers who were interested in this presentation. The presentation of the team’s robot was attended by the teaching staff of the CST department – head of the department Kaliaskarov N.B., senior teacher Sarsembayev E.A., senior teacher Sakenova S.Zh., assistant Zhantuganova T.S., head of the laboratory Nygimetzhanova S.K. ; associate professor of the department of AMP Kaverin V.V., senior teacher of the department of AMP Tokhmetova K.M., as well as master’s students of the department of AMP Akkazyev B.M. and Zharasa Y.A. Those present actively asked questions and showed great interest in the project.
