JSC “National information technologies” (hereinafter — the company) is implementing a project “open government” which goal is the creation of a transparent accountable government, empowerment of citizens in government, strengthening the fight against corruption as well as the use of new technologies to improve the efficiency of public administration. One component of Open government is open data portal which is a platform where hosted government data in machine-readable format.
On the portal data.egov.kz anyone can review the information, analyze them, process them, get some insights and use them in their work. And developers can create useful applications and services that can be sold.
In order to promote the portal data.egov.kz and to increase interest in the data sets JSC “National information technologies” on May 19 this year announced a contest for development of mobile applications
The conditions of competition in the application, and they can be found on the Open information’s portal data.egov.kz in the section “Competitions”.
