In total, the faculty has 64 groups of full–time departments, 1st year 17 gy, 2nd year -18 gy, 3rd year – 16 gy, 4th year – 13 gy. Educational work is carried out by a curator assigned to each group. Curatorial hours are held weekly in all groups according to the curatorial hours plan drawn up by the curator of the group at the beginning of the semester and the model of patriotic education adopted in the Abylkas Saginov Map. Each curator also conducts unscheduled work with students, namely conversations about offenses, compliance with internal regulations, the dangers of smoking, alcoholism and drug addiction, AIDS prevention, the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, and the prevention of religious extremism. The Faculty of Energy Automation and Telecommunications regularly hosts master classes of curatorial watches. The FEAT groups are actively working with the parents of students. Parents of students actively receive reports from their children’s academic supervisors and are fully informed about the life of both the faculty and the university as a whole. Individual preventive work is carried out with students who systematically skip classes, as well as their parents, through telephone communication, personal conversations, invitations to department meetings, where such cases are considered in detail and disciplinary measures are applied to such students (reprimands, strict remarks, warnings). Students are active members of the Professional Union of Students “Zhas Orda”, which organizes and conducts various events both within the FEAT and on the scale of the Abylkas Saginov Map.
