International cooperation of the Faculty of Energy, Automation and Telecommunications! The APP Department, together with the departments of automation of the MEI, the Baltic, Omsk State, Sevastopol National Technical Universities, participates in a unique international scientific and educational project “Synergy” under the auspices of the Festo concern (Austria, Germany). As part of the development of the academic mobility program, students study annually at universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries. Cooperation has been developed with Karaganda Industrial University, Karaganda State University. academician E.A. Buketov, Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after S.Seifullin, Tomsk Polytechnic University. The faculty implements a program of “double-degree education”, undergraduates have the opportunity to receive two diplomas at once: a card named after Abylkas Saginov and a leading university in Russia. Since 2009, Kazakhstan has been implementing the program “Attracting foreign scientists to Kazakh universities”. It is aimed at internationalizing education, stimulating the active implementation of the principles of the Bologna process, increasing the competitiveness of the university, forming an attractive image of the university in society, and also contributes to the development of academic communication skills of students and teachers. Within the framework of this program “Attracting foreign scientists to Kazakhstani universities”, the Department of Informatics annually invites scientists from leading universities of the world to give lectures, hold consultations and seminars, as well as as scientific supervisors of undergraduates and doctoral students. Inviting scientists from abroad allows students to develop their competencies through new knowledge and teaching methods from the perspective of an international approach to the educational process. Also, the involvement of specialists is carried out for the purpose of professional development of the teaching staff of the department, to provide advice on various academic and scientific issues.
