In 1958 the faculty of KarPTI was awarded a government award “commemorative red flag” Communist Party of Kazakhstan and the Kazakh SSR Council of Ministers for success in work.
In 1964, for success in carrying out cleaning virgin crop the Institute was awarded with a Memorable Red Banner “Communist Party of Kazakhstan and the Kazakh SSR CM.
In 1967, the Central Committee of Youth of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of agriculture of Kazakhstan w awarded the student building group of the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute with Red Banner, “Student virgin building of 1967”.
In 1968, the Ministry of agriculture of the Kazakh SSR and the Kazakh headquarters MTR awarded the best MTR MTR Karaganda region of Karaganda Polytechnic Institute, the Red Banner “Student virgin building in 1968”.
In 1969, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR awarded Karaganda Polytechnic Institute “diploma” of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR for his services in the formation and organization of the student building groups in Kazakhstan.
In 1970, the Communist Party of Kazakhstan, Kazakh SSR Presidium of the Supreme Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR and Kazsovprof awarded labour group of the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute with “diploma” to commemorate the 50 anniversary of the Kazakh SSR and the Communist Party of Kazakhstan.
In 1972, the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute awarded the highest rewards of the CPSU and the Presidium of the USSR, CM of the USSR and the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions with the “Honorable anniversary medal” to commemorate the 50 anniversary of the Kazakh SSR and the Communist Party of Kazakhstan.

In 1976 Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of USSR for achievements in training of specialists for national economy, and carrying out scientific research in the 9th Five-Year Plan awarded the “Order of Red Banner of Labor “(18.02.1976.) to the KPI.
In 1976 the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute is listed in “The Golden Book of Honor of the Kazakh SSR” for high characteristics in (05/21/1976).
In 1979, Challenge Red Banner (20.02. 79) was awarded to Karaganda Polytechnic Institute by the Communist Party of Kazakhstan, Kazakh SSR CM, Kazsovprof and the Central Committee of Youth of Kazakhstan for achievements the best results in the Republican competition for training the specialists, educational process improvement, promotion the efficiency of scientific research and improvement of the ideological and educational work.
In 1979, the MV and SSO of the USSR, the Central Committee of Teachers’ Unions Bill and academic institutions awarded to collective of the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute the “Diploma” second cash prize.
In 1979, the Central Committee of the USSR Council, AUCCTU and the Komsomol Central Committee awarded to the team Karaganda Red Banner of Labor Polytechnic Institute “with the Red Banner” for the best results in All-Union Soc. competition, raise production efficiency and quality of work, the successful implementation of plan for economic and social development in 1979.
In 1980, the MV and SSO of the USSR, the Central Committee of Teachers’ Unions Bill and scientific institutions award team Karaganda Red Banner of Labor Polytechnic Institute with the “Challenge Red Banner” from the first cash prize.
In 1980, the Central Committee of Youth of Kazakhstan presented the “Challenge Red Banner” to the best regional student construction group KarPTI “Polytechnic-80”.
In 1981, Decree of the Central Committee of Communist Party of Kazakhstan, the Bureau of AC and SM of the Kazakh SSR KarPTI is listed in “The Golden Book of Honor of the Kazakh SSR” for high performance in the assignments of the plan.

In 1984, in honor of the 30 th anniversary of virgin and 25 years of motion of the MTR, for its high performance in work, production and socio-political activities of the SSO “Polytechnic” was awarded an honorary “Red Banner” Communist Party of Kazakhstan and the Kazakh SSR CM.
In 1988, Communist Party of Kazakhstan, Kazakh SSR SM, and CC Kazsovprof LKSMK Kazakhstan Karaganda awarded the “Challenge Red Banner” to the team of Karaganda Red Banner of Labor Polytechnic Institute- the winner in the Republican contest for the best results in basic and applied research, development and introduction of new generations of technology in 1988.
In 1988, the Ministry of Education of the Kazakh SSR and the RK Trade Union of Education and Science was awarded the team of Karaganda Red Banner of Labor Polytechnic Institute “diploma” for achieving the highest results in education of future specialists in accordance with the restructuring of higher education.
In 1989, the Communist Party of Kazakh SSR, Kazakh SSR SM, Kazsovprof, CC LKSMK Kazakhstan Karaganda team awarded the Order of Red Banner of Labor Polytechnic Institute – the winner in the Republican socialist competition for the best results in basic and applied research, development and introduction of new generations of technology, high-performance process, high-yield crop varieties and animal breeds in 1989 “with the Red Banner.
In 1989, the Communist Party of Kazakhstan and the Central Council of Trade Unions LKSMK awarded by commanders of detachments MTR Karaganda Polytechnic Institute “with the Red Banner” for the successful preparation for the third Labour term.

In 2002, the International Association for the Promotion of Industry (SPI), the Paris presented to the KSTU – the winner of the International Programme “Gold Medal SPI» «For rapid development, high goods quality and services.
In 2005, the International Fund FEBR (Geneva, Switzerland), a gold medal “For high quality in business cooperation” in business practice.
