Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan from Akmola region. Was born on April 19, 1948, Kazakh. Education- higher. Graduated from the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute and from Academy of Social Sciences under the Central Committee of CPSU. Mechanical engineer, teacher of social sciences. Served as deputy mayor of Akmola region. Member of the Commission on Family Affairs and Gender Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States. A member of the team of co-operation with Senate Romania, Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia. Was awarded the Order “Kurmet”, “Commonwealth” of IPA CIS, five medals. |

PIVEN GENNADY GEORGIEVICH
G.G. Piven was born on March 1, 1945, Karaganda, Ukrainian, graduated in 1967 from Karaganda Polytechnic Institute “Mechanical engineering, machine tools and instruments” with a degree in mechanical engineering. After graduation he worked in the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute, now the State Technical University, occupying the following positions: chief engineer of the industrial laboratory SRD, assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor, professor, head of the department since 1994, the rector of Karaganda Order of Red Banner of Labor of Polytechnic Institute, and rector of Karaganda State Technical University from 1996 to January 2008, currently he is an honorary rector of Karaganda State Technical University. In 1971 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of technical sciences, in 1986 – for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences. Academician of the Academy of Natural Science, Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the International Academy of Higher Education, the International Academy of Informatization. G.G. Piven was a member of the Supreme Science and Technology Commission of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a member of the Commission for the award of State Prize of Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of science and technology. He is currently Chairman of the Karaganda Branch of SRA of the Republic of Kazakhstan, editor of the journal “Proceedings of the university” and “Automation and Informatics.” G.G. Piven is the author of 4 books, 8 monographs and over 250 scientific articles, 62 of which were assigned copyright certificates and patents, three certificates of intellectual property. He was awarded the medal “Labour Veteran”, “Excellent Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan” medals “10 Years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan “, “10 Years of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan “, the title “Honored Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan” medal n.a. A. Baitursynov, state award – the Order “Kurmet”. |
