Neshina Yelena Gennadievna – candidate of technical sciences, head of the Department «Energy systems»
In the period of 1999-2004, she graduated with honors from KSTU with a degree in Standardization and certification, and in 2009 with a degree in Electric power engineering. In 2013, he was awarded a master of technical science degree in “Electric power engineering”. In 2020, she graduated from Tomsk Polytechnic University with a degree in Photonics, instrumentation, optical and biotechnical systems and technologies (2016-2020). In 2021, at the Dissertation Council of the Research Institute of Tomsk Polytechnic University (Russia), she successfully defended her candidate of technical sciences.
Since 2004, she has been working at the Karaganda Technical University at the Department of Power Supply and Electrical Engineering (now Energy Systems), as an assistant, teacher, senior lecturer, acting head of the department.
The main directions of ongoing scientific research E.G. Neshin’s work is the development of an innovative power supply system for communication and telecommunications devices based on high technology, as well as research on the creation of an intelligent fiber-optic sensor to control the deformation of mine workings.
Author of more than 150 scientific papers, 4 monographs and 7 textbooks, 2 of which are recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan; 18 textbooks, 2 of them are recommended by the Educational and Methodological Association of Republican Educational and Methodological Council MES RK. Hirsch index: Scopus – 5, WoS – 5.
Has letters of thanks from the Rector of KarTU. In 2018, the rector of the University awarded the diploma of the 3rd degree for a special contribution to the development of the University as “the Best young scientist-innovator”. Winner of the grant “Best University teacher” – 2018. Entered the TOP-50 of the General Ranking of teaching staff of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan – in 2018 – 48, in 2019 – 42, 2020 – 22nd place. In 2022, she was elected a full member (Academician) of the International Informatization Academy.
