On April 10, a meeting with the delegation of JSC National mining company «Tau-Ken Samruk» was held at Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University. The delegation included chief business administration Director – Board Member Rakhmatulla Ablazimov, directors of the HR department – Aidos Zhumabek, subsoil use and communications – Erlan Kalmyrza; Director of LLP «JE «Alaigyr» Kairat Ordabayev.
The Board Members who met the guests – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Bekbolat Nussupbekov, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Digitalization Timur Kanapyanov, and other representatives of the university acquainted them with the current activities and achievements of the university, which is a recognized source of personnel for the Karaganda region and the entire Republic. They talked about the problems the university is working on and measures to improve the quality of training specialists, including for the mining industry.
During the meeting, the guests visited the center for working professions, the scientific and educational complex «Nanotechnology and Metallurgy» with the laboratory «Nanometallurgical Processes».
At the end of the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum on the development and strengthening of cooperation between the university and the mining company.
