Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University and Karaganda Promstroyproekt Institute LLP discussed prospects for cooperation aimed at the development of educational and professional programs. During the meeting, the parties agreed to create a joint training center for graduate students, as well as a platform for startups.
As the Chairman of the Management Board – Rector Saule Sagintayeva, noted, the university is changing the format of interaction with partners in order to ensure closer cooperation. She stressed that it is important not only to provide theoretical knowledge, but also to create conditions for the development of practical skills of students. The University is interested in the active involvement of partners in the educational process, as well as in the implementation of scientific projects commissioned by the industrial sector.
Sanzhar Rakhmetzhanov, General Director of the Karaganda Promstroyproekt Institute LLP, noted that the project provides for the creation of an educational building in which professional training and retraining of personnel will be implemented. “We are not going to compete in higher education, our goal is to provide professional knowledge and skills. We will provide project tools, and students will be able to complete an internship and immediately start working with guaranteed employment”, he said. He also asked the university for help in developing methodological materials and curricula.
Recall, the Karaganda Promstroyproekt Institute is one of the leading engineering companies in Kazakhstan, which has been involved in the design and construction of large industrial and infrastructure facilities since 1959.
