As you know, in order to transfer advanced scientific technologies, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was instructed to provide an annual internship for 500 of our scientists in the world’s leading research centers. These internships are aimed at improving the skills of scientific, scientific and technical personnel in leading foreign organizations of higher and postgraduate education, research centers and industry organizations.
Kalamkas Kalybekova, Associate professor of the Department of Kazakh Language and Culture at Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University, became the owner of an international scholarship for researchers and teachers within the framework of the international program of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Bolashak”, which gives the right to such an internship. Thanks to this, she completed an internship at the University of Kastamonu in the Republic of Turkey from February 3 to December 3, 2024.
In accordance with the scientific orientation of the internship, K. Kalybekova published several articles based on Scopus, in journals recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (CQASHE). During the internship, she participated in training seminars, international symposiums, conferences, and international congresses in Istanbul, Aksaray, Ankara, Eskisehir, Konya and received appropriate certificates. She also gave lectures on the Kazakh language for the Turkish audience at the University of Kastamonu.
Together with her research work at Kastamonu University, together with Kazakhstani scientists and students, K. Kalybekova was able to celebrate International Women’s Day, Nauryz holiday, National Day of Kazakh Clothing and take an active part in other public events. All this left unforgettable impressions about the internship, armed with new knowledge and experience.
