At the invitation of Jilin University (Changchon, PRC), from October 31 to November 05, 2024, Head of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies of Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University Takibayeva Altynarai Temirbekovna took part in the opening of the International Forum on the theme “THE 22nd CONFERENCE on International Exchange of professionals”, which was held in the city Shanghai.
The Forum was attended by about 1500 foreign specialists from more than 200 higher educational institutions of the world and in total more than 2,000 thousand participants.
The conference was attended by State Councilor of the People’s Republic of China Shen Yiqin, Shanghai Mayor Wang Xiaoping, Nobel Laureate Hartmut Michel, as well as other government officials and responsible persons.
It should be noted that the NJSC Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the NJSC Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University took part in the conference on behalf of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On November 04, 2024, as part of a working visit to Jilin University, Takibayeva A.T. presented the Abylkas Saginov KTU at the International Conference on Academic Exchange in the field of agricultural disciplines “Improving the welfare of agriculture”, which serves to implement the “Belt and Road” initiative. Takibayeva A.T. also shared the results and achievements of research. She noted the publication of the faculty of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies in highly rated journals included in the international database Scopus and WoS (quartiles Q1, Q2) in the field of chemical technologies and biotechnology.
During the visit, partnerships (cooperation) were established in the field of education and joint research in the fields of chemical technology and biotechnology. Takibayeva A.T. visited the smart laboratories, the campus and the museum of Jilin University.
In continuation of international cooperation, a delegation of Jilin University is expected to arrive in the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the International Forum in the field of chemical technologies and Biotechnology, held by the Faculty of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies.
