In 2024, the Department of Kazakh Literature and Teaching Methods named after Academician S. Kirabaev in Almaty National Pedagogical University named after Abai organized an international online teleconference among students dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of Saken Seifullin, Ilyas Zhansugurov, Beyimbet Mailin «USH BAYTEREK: TAGDYR MEN TAGYLYM»
Purpose: To tell about the life and achievements of outstanding historical figures of the last century, who made a huge contribution to the development of the country and left behind a rich spiritual heritage. The task is to introduce students to the biographies and creative paths of these great people, as well as to contribute to the formation of civic identity.
The topic under consideration covers the work of Saken Seifullin, Ilyas Zhansugurov and Beimbet Mailin, as well as their significant role in society.
The «Ush Baiterek» of the Kazakh people — Ilyas Zhansugurov, Saken Seifullin and Beyimbet Mailin — made a huge contribution to the development of Kazakh literature. These talented poets, writers and playwrights have become the pride of the nation, raising the national speech art to a new level. Their works, characterized by a wealth of themes, genre facets and the artistic world, enriched the spirituality of the people. The “Ush Baiterek” of literature has become a kind of reflection of life.
This event was attended by scientists, undergraduates and students from universities in Kazakhstan, Russia and Kyrgyzstan. Students and undergraduates under the guidance of the acting head of the Department of Kazakh Language and Culture of Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov, associate Professor K.M. Khamzina and Master of Pedagogical Sciences A.D. Bekkulova made interesting presentations.
The participants of the teleconference discussed the life and work of famous personalities, and also shared their wise advice with the younger generation. After all, the names and images of outstanding people of our nation rightfully occupy a special place in the memory of modern youth. This international teleconference has become a real lesson for the younger generation.
Alexey Lovyagin, a master’s student of the SM-23-2 group, under the guidance of K. M. Khamzina, and Borankulov Bergen, a student of the Sib-23-6 group, under the guidance of A. D. Bekkulova, took part in the event and were awarded special certificates.
