On September 28, 2024, the traditional autumn athletics cross “Golden Autumn” was held in the Central Park of Culture and Recreation in Karaganda among university and college students, production teams and veterans (40+).
The purpose and objectives of this cross-country race were to promote a healthy lifestyle, develop athletics in the city of Karaganda and the region, and attract the population to regular jogging.
The distances for men are 1000 meters, for women – 500 meters.
The management of this event was assigned to the Department of Culture, Language Development, Physical Culture and Sports of Karaganda and the NGO “Athletics Federation of the Karaganda region”.
The national teams of Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov, as well as in the spring cross country, men took the third place (bronze medals), women the fourth place.
