Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University (Kazakhstan) and Kongju National University (South Korea) have signed a General Agreement


Within the framework of the Global Education Innovation Summit 2024 (GEIS), held in Seoul, Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Advisor to the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kim Jin-ha, signed a General Agreement with Kongju National University.

Kongju National University, established in 1948, is currently the 9th largest among national and public universities in Korea, located in Chungcheongnam-do province (South Korea) with campuses in the cities of Gongju, Cheonan, Yesan, and Sejong. It is one of the leading national research universities in South Korea. Kongju National University is certified by the International Education Quality Assurance System (IEQAS) 2014.

The General Agreement provides for academic exchanges and dual-degree programs in the following fields:

  • Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor’s, Master’s);
  • Information Systems (Master’s);
  • Civil Engineering (Bachelor’s);
  • Life Safety and Environmental Protection (Bachelor’s).

The agreement also includes joint scientific research and the establishment of a Korean Language Study Center.
