Among many scientists, teachers who made a great contribution to the development of the speciality “Enrichment of minerals” in Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University, a worthy place is occupied by Associate Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences Akimbekova Bakhyt Bazylovna.
Bakhyt Bazylovna, having graduated with honours from Karaganda State University named after E.A. Buketov. E.A. Buketov Karaganda State University, speciality “Chemistry”, from 1976 to 1979 began her labour activity in the secondary school №1 of Zhezkazgan. From 1979 to 2005 she worked in Zhezkazgan State University named after O.A. Baikonurov from the position of associate professor, head of the department of “Ecology and Chemistry” to the leading position – Vice-Rector for scientific and educational work. In 1993 she successfully defended her thesis in MISIS (Moscow, Russia) for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in the speciality of mineral resources development.
From 2005 to the present time Bakhyt Bazylovna is an associate professor of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies of Abylkas Saginov Kartu NAO.
She published more than 20 scientific papers published in highly rated journals, included in the international bases SCOPUS, CA; 2 monographs in co-authorship, 2 patents, 16 textbooks, MOOCs on two disciplines “Tusti metal kenderdi bayytu”, “Metal emes paidaly kazbalardy bayytu” On citation Hirsch index 2.
Bakhyt Bazylovna has hundreds of graduates who became very famous personalities, among them are heads of enterprises and leading specialists: General Director of “Silicon Mining” LLP – Kenzhebekova E.S., Director of Zhezkazgan enrichment plant – Buribaev M., chief enrichment technologist of JSC “Zhairemsky mining and enrichment plant” (JGOK) – Momynbekov A., engineer-technologist on ore preparation of “Weir Minerals” LLP – Zeinullin R. and others.
