On September 9, 2023, volunteer students of the «Rakhmet» Volunteer Club of the College of Innovative Technologies of the Karaganda Technical University of the Abilkas Saginov together with the «Akniet» Charitable Foundation visited the Blagodaty home for the elderly and disabled in our city as part of the “Care” campaign.
College students and parents actively participated in the annual action initiated by the director of the college, Nurbibi Absadykovna Smagulova, and extended a helping hand with food and basic necessities.
By the will of fate, the old people who came to this house had fun and arranged a festive party.
The goal was not to go to a nursing home and give a concert, as usual. Our goal was to cheer up the caring grandparents who got here by the will of fate, at least for a minute. Young people talked with old people, shared secrets and listened to their thoughts. We believe that such meetings will teach young people to goodness and morality.
As already mentioned, the elderly are our precious treasure, we congratulate all Kazakhstanis on October 1 – the International Day of the Elderly and invite the younger generation to do good within this holiday!
