October 23, 2023 curator Sakenova S.Zh. conducted a master class on curatorial hour in group RET-23-1 on the topic “Academician A. Saginov – scientist and organizer of higher technical education in Kazakhstan, founder of Karaganda Technical University.”
The purpose of the curator’s hour was to get acquainted with interesting facts from the biography and scientific and labor path of Abilkas Saginov. Also, the purpose of the master class is to familiarize yourself with the main stages of the development of the university and study the contribution of A. Saginov in the formation of KarTU.
The master class was attended by: senior curator and curators of the CST department, head of the CST department Kaliaskarov N.B., member of the Council for Spiritual and Moral Education Bokizhanov G.I. and the head of the Research Institute of Patriotic Education Bushmanova B.A.
At the event, facts from the biography, scientific and work activities of Academician Abilkas Saginov were presented. In addition, it was noted that KarTU was named after A. Saginov in February 2022, and the university celebrated its 70th anniversary this year. To consolidate the presented material, games were held among the students, as a result of which the “Samruk” team won.
In addition, students Kurakbay Aruzhan, Kusayynova Bibinur and Meyirbekkyzy Gulmereke read poems of their own compositions dedicated to the theme of the curatorial hour.
At the end of the master class, curator S. Zh. Sakenova. summed up the results of the curatorial hour, and the invited guests shared their impressions and expressed their best wishes to the students present.
