On October 17-20, 2023, students of the RET-23-1, STSS-23-1 and RET-23-2 groups, together with the group curators, visited the University History Museum. In accordance with the plan of educational work, a museum employee conducted an excursion on the history of the university, the development of scientific and technical creativity and the patriotic education of students.
The museum’s exposition is a kind of chronicle of the history of the formation and development of the university from 1953 to the present time. Rich and varied material is presented at personal stands dedicated to the studies at KPTI of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev; Rector of the Institute, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR A.S. Saginov; the first Kazakh professor of mathematics A.A. Ermekov and academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR K.I. Satpayev, whose life and work were closely connected with the institute. Special stands are dedicated to the laureates of State Prizes, perpetuating the memory of scientists “Teacher, I bow to your name.”
Historical material shows Museum visitors the continuity of generations, the preservation of traditions, and the active participation of teachers and students in public life.
