On April 13, at the department of BM&T of Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University, a meeting was held between students of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering with a well-known graduate, a historian-researcher who implemented many of his ideas in construction, Sapar Iskakovich Iskakov.
The guest of honor was received by the Executive Director of the University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor A.Z. Issagulov. On behalf of Chairman of the Board, Rector of the University M.K. Ibatov, he warmly welcomed Sapar Iskakovich and expressed gratitude for his active participation in the patriotic and spiritual and moral education of the youth. Then the guest was given a tour of the University with a visit to the Exhibition of Achievements, the Architectural Museum, construction laboratories.

Sapar Iskakovic is an Honorary Builder who has implemented a lot of interesting projects in civil engineering. He is also a famous traveler-explorer, he visited 140 countries at both poles of the Earth. As a historian-researcher, together with scientists he has visited 46 countries where there are burial places of our ancestors.
In recent years, he has been implementing a tourist hub in the Kostanay region. Its construction was shown in a video. It is planned to build a multifunctional tourist complex in the area of seven hectares in the village of Amangeldy. It will consist of 12 objects that will represent mini-copies of the wonders of the world: the Indian temple of Taj Mahal; the Chichen Itza pyramid, the cultural center of the Mayan tribe on the Yucatan Peninsula; the cathedral in the city of Brasilia; the Arc de Triomphe in Paris; the Pyramid of Cheops in Egypt, etc. The most important building of the hub will be the Wall of National Memory designed to keep the memory of the greatest Kazakhs and their ancestors, starting from the founder of the empire of the Huns Mode, the leader of the Mamluks Sultan Baibars, the great poet Abai Kunanbayev to the hero of the Great Patriotic War Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan Dinmukhamed Konayev.
The meeting was held in an interactive mode, students listened to the guest with undisguised interest and with great attention, asked questions, to which they received exhaustive, interesting answers. At the end of the meeting, Sapar Iskakovich wished everyone success in their studies, to become professionals in the specialty that has become his life’s work. Congratulating everyone on the forthcoming 70th anniversary of the University, he expressed hope that the current generation of students would worthily continue the traditions and success of the talented graduates of “Karaganda Polytechnic”.
