Student councils of dormitories of Karaganda Technical University are permanent self-governing bodies of students of the KarTU living in dormitories.
In its activities, the Student Council is guided by the University Charter, Internal Regulations, Regulations on Student Councils of Dormitories.
The purpose of the Student Councils is to develop and implement joint projects and activities with the University administration aimed at improving living conditions, the quality of educational, educational, cultural, mass and physical culture and wellness work.
The activities of Student Councils of dormitories are monitored by the Vice-Rector for Educational Work, the Department of Youth Policy and administrators of dormitories.
Students living in dormitories and elected to Student Councils have the right to participate in the activities of Student Councils of dormitories.
Student councils operate in dormitories «Armandastar Ordasy», «Studentter uyi» and dormitory No. 3.
Esbatyr Aruzhan, a student of the SIB-19-1 group, was elected Chairman of the Student Council of the Armandastar Ordasy Dormitory.
A student of the TS-20-1 group Saparov Azamat was elected Chairman of the Student Council of the Studentter uyi dormitory.
Azat Zangar, a student of the APU-19-1 group, was elected Chairman of the Student Council of the Dormitory No. 3.
