Student councils of dormitories of Karaganda Technical University are permanent self-government bodies of KarTU students living in dormitories
In its activities, the Student Council is guided by the University Charter, Internal Rules, and Regulations on Student Councils of Dormitories.The purpose of the Student Councils is to develop and implement joint projects and events with the University administration aimed at improving living conditions, the quality of educational, educational, cultural, and physical education work.Control over the activities of Student Councils of dormitories is carried out by the Vice-Rector for Educational Work, the Department of Youth Policy and dormitory administrators.Students living in dormitories and elected to Student Councils have the right to participate in the activities of Student Councils of dormitories.Student councils operate in the dormitories “Armandastar Ordasy”, “Studentter Uyi” and dormitory No. 3. Student of group C-21-3 Saken Ayazhan was elected Chairman of the Student Council of the Armandastar Ordasy dormitory. Student of the TsAF-21-2 group Zhakiya Altynay was elected Chairman of the Student Council of the Studentter Uyi dormitory. Eldana Nurzhigitova, a student of group SIS-21-3, was elected Chairman of the Student Council of the dormitory No. 3.
