December 21, 2021 the results of the International Competition of Video Presentations 3 Minute Thesis (3MT), held within the framework of international cooperation by the Belarusian State University (BSU) and Ivanovo State Power Engineering University named after IN AND. Lenin (ISEU) with the participation of the Department of Russian Language and Culture of the Karaganda Technical University (KTU) under the leadership of Ospanova B.R.
The purpose of the competition is to demonstrate the skills and abilities of using oral academic foreign and Russian languages.
The main objectives of the competition are to improve the skills of oral communication in foreign and Russian languages, to develop critical thinking and creative potential in future specialists.
Students of non-linguistic universities took part in the Competition with individual presentations. The speeches of the participants were a video covering the declared topic for 3 minutes.
When assessing, the members of the expert commission took into account the logic and structure of the video presentation, adherence to grammatical, lexical and pronunciation norms, and the design of the poster. The works of students of the Karaganda Technical University were evaluated by colleagues from the Belarusian State University (BSU).
