3.03.2020 year in the Karaganda Academy of MIA of the RK held competitions in the framework of the “14 of the sports contest among students on prizes of Akim of Karaganda region dedicated to the 1150 anniversary of Abu Nasir al-Farabi” on chess (team of 2 men, 2 women, 1 representative ). The team of KSTU took 2nd place, and togyzkumalak (team 2 men, 2 women, 1 member ) where the University team also won the 2nd place.
