On February 25-26, 2020, the Department of Economics within the framework of the state program “rukhani zhangyru” held a Regional video contest among first-year students. The competition was attended by students of the Polytechnic College of Balkhash, KMA, Karsu, and others. a Total of 18 videos were presented. Coverage of students – more than 90 people.

The topics offered to students for videos – “Sacred places of our Motherland”, “Problems of young Kazakhstanis and their solution”, “family Cult – a national feature of the Kazakh people”, “Holidays and traditions of Kazakhstan” – were aimed at achieving the following results:

– education of respect for their culture and native land, folk and family traditions;

– formation of civil activity;

– development of communication skills.

When summarizing the results of the competition, students ‘ works were evaluated taking into account the following criteria:

* matching the content of the videos to the contest topics

* duration of the video

* the video must be original, i.e. taken by the students themselves

* the work should not be in the form of slides, but necessarily in the form of a video clip

* the video must be voiced by the participants of the video or voice-over by the students themselves.

The following groups of works received prizes:

1st place-is-19-2, GD-19-4

2nd place-MASH-19-1, AIU-19-1

3rd place-PSK-19-1, NVP-19-2, ND-19-1

The winners were awarded with certificates, and all participants received letters of thanks.
