November 12, 2019 students of the specialty 5B070700 – “Mining” (group GD-17-2 (21 people) and group GD-16-9 (5 people)) accompanied by senior lecturers of the department DMR Steflyuk Yu.M. and Zeytinova Sh.B. took part in a practice-oriented lesson with a trip to the Molodyozhny quarry.
This visiting lesson is connected with the studied disciplines “Processes of preparation and excavation of rocks in quarries” and “Open development of mineral deposits”.
The purpose of the trip to the Molodezhny open-pit mine is to familiarize students with the production processes at the quarry, the methodology for calculating the productivity of mining and loading equipment and preparing for excavation, as well as to give an idea of modern technological schemes for the development of minerals in an open way, means of complex mechanization of the main and auxiliary processes on example of the coal mine “Youth”.
Students on the spot underwent initial safety training.
On a section under the leadership of the chief technologist Adelev S.I. students got acquainted with the technological schemes for the development of the mine, learned about modern means of complex mechanization of the main and auxiliary processes in the coal mine and the influence of technological characteristics and equipment operating modes on its productivity.
The purpose of the practice-oriented lesson is to consolidate the theoretical knowledge gained during lectures and practical exercises in the disciplines “Tau zhynystaryn dayindau zhne alu procesteri” and “Open mining of mineral deposits”.
