On April 17, 2019, students of the LOG-18-2 group (curated by Alimova B.Sh.) took part in a curator hour on topic “Acquaintance with 100 new textbooks in social and humanitarian sphere” at the KSTU library.
Library employee Ponomareva G.Sh. said that in the globalization era, formation of new generation that accepts all current challenges and threats of time is extremely important. Main tool for this is education. Translation of 100 leading textbooks in social and humanitarian sphere is a right step in formation of new Kazakhstan people generation, educated in competitiveness and pragmatism spirit.
100 best textbooks of the world in all humanitarian areas will be translated into Kazakh in a few years.
18 textbooks have been translated at the moment and published in a edition of 10 thousand copies each. 110 universities of Kazakhstan received them for free.
Students were interested in textbooks electronic version loaded on the Open University of Kazakhstan platform – openU.kz
