April 1-6, 2019, the Department of Russian Language and Speech Culture, together with the Institute of Advanced Studies of Karaganda State Technical University, conducts advanced training courses on the theme: “Developing Critical Thinking in the Context of Trilingual Education”.
Form of participation – full-time, remote.
Category of participants of the courses and advanced training programs:
– teachers and teachers of language disciplines;
– teachers of Russian as a foreign language;
– teachers of linguistic specialties.
The introduction of trilingual education is a significant step in the implementation of the Language Policy Concept of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this regard, more and more teachers of the system of secondary and higher education are turning to the ideas of forming critical thinking, which leads to independent decision-making, collegiality, students’ initiative and flexibility, possessing the skills and abilities of business interaction and cooperation, manifested in non-standard approaches to solving life and professional tasks.
The course participants will familiarize themselves with the main techniques for the formation of critical thinking in the context of trilingual education. In this regard, retreats, workshops, and dialogue platforms will be organized.
