The Republican contest of scientific works (projects) on “Mathematics and its applications in science and engineering” among students and postgraduates of technical universities of RK

 

On 29  March 2019 in the frame of the State program of education development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2011-2020 will be held II Republican contest of scientific works (projects) on “Mathematics and its applications in science and engineering” among students and master’s students of  universities of Kazakhstan.

The work of the following sections is planned:

Section 1. Mathematical and computer modeling

Section 2. Applied mathematic

Location: KSTU. Dates: 29 March 2019.

Following materials can be represented to the contest

1  Multimedia content, software products, creative projects and scientific works (no more than 20 pages).

2 Standard Application, which includes information about the author (authors) and supervisor (supervisors)

3 Job description on 2-4 typewritten pages, outlining the relevance, novelty, significance and future use.

4 Supervisor’s review about degree of independence of the performed work (in any form).

Requirements for competition materials

1 Materials for the contest are submitted in electronic and paper (one copy) versions.

2 Description (section 3) contains a cover sheet indicating the name of the University, faculty, department, academic group, title, last name and initials of the authors of the projects and their supervisors with signatures.

3 Description is completed according  to the following parameters:

— left margin – 2.5 cm, right field – 1,5 cm, footer – 2, 0 cm;

— font size in Times New Roman 14;

— line spacing – single;

— indent (first line indent) – 1.25 cm
