Ministry of Religious Affairs and Civil Society of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces a competition for the state youth award “Daryn” of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan from March 30 to August 1, 2018.
The state youth award “Daryn” (hereinafter — the Award) is given annually for the purpose of state support of talented youth for fruitful scientific, creative, social activities, as well as for high sports achievements in 10 categories: literature, science, design and fine arts, journalism, classical music, social activities, sport, theatre and cinema, pop music, folk art.
Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the age of 29 years at the end of the application process, who are winners of international and national competitions, festivals and exhibitions, winners and winners of sports competitions of the national and international levels, as well as candidates whose activities are innovative and contribute to the development of the relevant industry and society as a whole can be nominated for the award.
The prize can be awarded at the same time to no more than two candidates for each category, in this case, its monetary part is divided equally between them. Re-award of the prize is not allowed. The same candidate may not be nominated for more than one nomination.
When giving the award to the team of authors, its monetary part is divided equally between its members.
Presentation of candidates for the award is made by central, local and other state bodies, public associations and other legal entities registered in the manner prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Central, local and other state bodies, public associations and other legal entities registered in the order established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan send the following documents to the authorized body in paper and electronic form:
1) a copy of the applicant’s identity card;
2) registration application form according to the annex;
3) request and certificate of candidate’s achievement for the award;
4) copies of award diplomas, certificates, gratitude (if any);
5) copies of articles, publications of the candidate or about the candidate (if available);
6) other supporting materials on the candidate’s achievements (if any).
The organization of watching performances, films, TV films, exhibitions, listening to concert programs, as well as music and literary works, acquaintance with the activities of the applicant by the Commission are entrusted to the nominating organizations.
The award decision enters into force from the date of its adoption by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the award is published in the media on the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Persons awarded the prize are given the title “Laureate of the State youth award “Daryn”, a diploma, a breastplate and a cash prize.
The awards are given in a solemn atmosphere, the award ceremony is timed to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
