“The best scientific discoveries are born in the period when the head is still not full with unnecessary information and dogmas. In later life, the brain only develops them”– one has to agree with Albert Einstein’s words. Therefore, the involvement of school-age children in serious research and development is not just an alternative to network games and the street, but a vital necessity.
On April 13 and 14, the competition of scientific works held at KSTU in the framework 47 regional and 43 Republican scientific-practical conference of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan only confirmed this fact. It was attended by 62 pupils ofhigh schools of the regions, who submitted their reports in various technical fields of study.
All 47 years of the competition existence, KSTUtook an active part in its organization and conduction. Over the years, dozens of interesting projects having important scientific and practical value received start in life.

AsylkhanTemirbek from Zhezkazgan gymnasium No. 8, pupil PCY William Gorodetsky and pupils of the school No. 63 in Karaganda AndreyYurin and EvgeniaIvanova received the first place in Geography and Architecture category.
Champions and prize-winners were awarded with diplomas and prizes.
