From 28 January to 9 February 2017 in Alma-ATA hosted the 28th world Winter Universiade students. Ski race competition was held at soldier’s gorge near Almaty is a modern ski and biathlon complex. Senior lecturer of the University EF the judge of higher national category in cross-country skiing Podkopaev S. P. were invited org. Committee of the Universiade as a judge at finalization, he received the international certificate allows to judge competitions of the international level. Also Podkopaev S. P. due to his professional qualities spent refereeing of the Asian Winter games held in Almaty and Astana 2014.
