A report on the event “Day of older persons”

October 1, 2015 at 12.00 at the café “Polytechnic” held a concert on the occasion of the “Day of older persons” with the participation of the rector of KSTU, academician of NAS RK M. A. Gazaliyev, the veterans of our University and guests of honor.
International Day of Older Persons celebrated annually on October 1 since 1991 according to the decision of the General Assembly of the United Nations (resolution 45/106 of December 14, 1990).
Day of older persons is a kind and bright holiday, when we give attention to our parents, and grandparents. This holiday is very important, because it allows you to attract the attention to numerous problems of older people living in modern society. We need to know about the needs and demands of the people we care about.
The event was organized by the Department of youth policy of the University.
