Curatorial hour in the TT-19-2 group on the topic «Global market and trends in the development of robotics»

In addition to data on expenditures for robotic systems, system equipment, SOFTWARE, related services, and spare parts and accessories, the robotics expenditure forecast now includes data on commercial purchases of drones and their parts / accessories.

Manufacturing accounts for more than half of all robotics spending: discrete manufacturing accounts for 31%, and continuous manufacturing accounts for 28% of all global spending in 2016. The picture will remain roughly the same throughout the forecast period, with investments in robotics in these two areas amounting to almost $ 110 billion. in the year 2020. The main application of robotics in discrete manufacturing is Assembly, welding, and painting, while in continuous production it is the preparation of mixtures.
