On February 14, 2020, students of the RET-19s and RET-19-2 groups visited the Karaganda museum of local lore. The purpose of conducting classes at the museum is to form students ‘ own cultural experience.
Only when visiting cultural and art institutions students will be able to fully immerse themselves in the cultural environment, get impressions and emotions. An excursion to any museum is always very informative and interesting. Museums are connected with the historical past, present and future of our country.
The local history museum of our city contains interesting exhibits of animals of our region, there are separate rooms on the topics of our region.
The local history museum was amazing in the truest sense of the word. Only when you go there, you feel this atmosphere of an unforgettable past.
The museum has 4 departments: general history, archeology and ethnography, department of modern history, department of funds, department of excursion and mass work.
The museum’s exposition is located in 14 halls and represents the history of the region from ancient times to the formation and development of the region in the conditions of independent Kazakhstan at the present stage. The museum contains a collection of archaeological objects of the paleolithic and the neolithic on the territory of Central Kazakhstan, more than 1000 types of paleontological artifacts, including items dating back to XVIII-XV centuries BC, collections of Ethnography and decorative art; documentary materials about the first explorers of the region.
The students were delighted to visit the museum. There are a lot of impressions left from the exhibits seen. At the end of the tour, the guide was thanked for a detailed story about the exhibition works.
Excursions to interesting places in Karaganda will continue throughout the study year. We invite students of other groups and specialties to join us, because the formation of their own cultural experience will be useful for a specialist in any field.
