Curator hour in the group OP-19-2 on the topic «World Market and trends in the robotics development»  


 

On February 6, 2020, students of group OP-19-2 (curated by Alimova B.Sh.) took part in a curatorial hour on the topic «World Market and trends in the robotics development».

Students of group OP-19-2 prepared a presentation on the topic about that technological vector of a post-industrial society is determined by transition to automated digital production using self-organizing cyberphysical systems. In fact, we are talking about autonomous robots that successfully replace human labor in an increasing number of industries. The latest accurate data on the industrial robot market is available for 2017, and this is 381 thousand units of equipment, the growth rate will be about 14%, preliminary estimates for 2019 indicate an increase to 421 thousand robots. In the near future, average annual rate is constantly increasing and in 2021 there will be already 630 thousand industrial robots in the world.

At curator hour, the group was introduced with presentation on prevention of coronavirus disease prepared by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, group curator again drew the students’ attention to the symptoms and signs of the disease, to methods of protection against new virus and the difference between its symptoms and SARS, so far specific treatment methods have not been developed.

Then, the students of group OP-19-2 read with interest the materials of the book exhibition «Abai Kunanbayev – a great thinker, philosopher, poet», organized by the library in the 1st building of KSTU lobby.
