10/12/2022 On the eve of the Spiritual Day, the Department of APK and SHS Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University held a regional team building “Interfaith unity – the basis of spiritual harmony.” It is symbolic to hold the event within the walls of our alma mater, since the Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov is always open for dialogue, friendly interaction, and is distinguished by a special, reverent respect for spirituality. The Day of Spiritual Harmony is a significant day not only for confessional organizations, but for all citizens. It is of great importance in the educational process of our students, the future generation. The upbringing of such value orientations as tolerance, peacefulness, the formation of a culture of interfaith and interethnic harmony are the most important priorities in the educational process of future highly qualified specialists. The participants of the regional team building were 5 confessional organizations: the Roman Catholic Church, the religious society of the Bahai faith, the Christian Presbyterian Missionary Grace Church, the religious association of Christians of the evangelical faith “Community of the Eternal Gospel”, the Muslim religious association. According to the results of the competition, the 1st place was taken by the Christian Presbyterian missionary Grace Church, the 2nd place – by the Muslim religious association, the 3rd place – by the religious society of the Bahai faith. We express our gratitude to the organization of the regional team building “Interfaith unity – the basis of spiritual harmony” to the faculty of the Department of “Physical Education” NAO Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov, headed by the head of the department Ph.D. Golovin I.L.
